Adding Links
How to add, edit, and organize links on your Itzme profile.
Links are the heart of your Itzme profile. They connect visitors to your social profiles, portfolio, contact information, and anywhere else you want to send them.
Accessing Links
- Log in to your Dashboard
- Click "Links" in the left sidebar
- You'll see all your current links and the option to add more
Adding a New Link
Step 1: Click "Add Link"
Click the "+ Add Link" button in your Links section.
Step 2: Enter Link Title
This is the text people will see on your button. Keep it clear and descriptive:
✅ Good titles:
- "LinkedIn Profile"
- "My Portfolio"
- "Email Me"
- "GitHub"
- "Download Resume"
❌ Avoid:
- "Link" (too vague)
- "linkedin.com/in/johnsmith" (too long, hard to read)
Step 3: Enter the URL
Paste the full web address:
✅ https://linkedin.com/in/johnsmith✅ https://github.com/johnsmith✅ mailto:john@email.comTip: Make sure to include https:// at the beginning of web URLs. For email links, use mailto: before the email address.
Step 4: Save
Click "Add" or "Save" and your link appears on your profile immediately.

Phone (optional):
Title: "Call Me"
URL: tel:+1234567890
Calendar booking:
Title: "Book a Meeting"
URL: https://calendly.com/yourname
Organizing Your Links
Reordering Links
Drag and drop your links to reorder them:
- Find the drag handle (⋮⋮ or similar icon) next to each link
- Click and hold
- Drag to the desired position
- Release to drop
Best practices for ordering:
- Most important link first (usually LinkedIn or portfolio)
- Other professional links
- Social media profiles
- Contact information
- Fun/personal links (if included)
Turning Links On/Off
Each link has a toggle switch:
- On (green) - Link is visible on your profile
- Off (gray) - Link is hidden but saved for later
This is useful for:
- Temporarily hiding a link
- Preparing links for future use
- A/B testing what works best
Deleting Links
To remove a link:
- Find the link you want to delete
- Click the trash icon or "Delete" button
- Confirm the deletion
Caution: Deleted links cannot be recovered. If you might want it later, turn it off instead of deleting.
